After spending months filming Love Island Australia in a Mallorcan villa, former Bachelorette Sophie Monk has looked to recreate that tropical paradise back on home soil, picking up a $2.3 million NSW Central Coast Hamptons-style mansion.
The lavish three-bedroom, two-bathroom home sits on a sprawling 8,000-square metre estate at Matcham, close to Wamberal and Forresters beach.
The home boasts a luxury master bedroom with ensuite and oversized walk-in wardrobe, and a huge outdoor living space with a stunning pool, fireplace and built-in pizza oven.
There’s an in-home theatre, triple lock-up garage, and two living spaces.
The home was last purchased in 2016 for $1.4 million, with the previous owners throwing in $250,000 to renovate the home, which was built in 2000.
Monk, who already owns a five-bedroom, three-bathroom home in Helensvale, Gold Coast, purchased the home back in May, according to Realestate.com, making this her second Aussie residence.
The former Bachelorette, who has been living in Los Angeles for the last 10 years, rents her Gold Coast pad out for $1,200 per week, after she purchased it for $1.1 million back in 2016.
