Since being crowned the winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race’s 13th season, Symone has been unstoppable. From walking in Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show to attending the Emmy Awards, all the while serving up fresh new drag looks, the Arkansas native has quickly become a welcome addition to the pop culture scene. So who better than Symone to grace In The Know’s digital cover in honor of Pride Month?
Jasper Soloff shot this month’s colorful cover in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Drag Race star was styled by Matthew Mazur, who was assisted by Xunami Muse, in a variety of looks from Bronx and Banco, Alexis Bittar and Christian Louboutin. Her gorgeous glam was crafted by makeup artist Sterling Tull.
Symone also sat down with In The Know’s Gibson Johns to talk about everything from Pride to attending the Met Gala, working with the likes of Madonna and Kacey Musgraves and a whole lot more.
