Since the first Amazon Prime Day in 2015, the sale event has grown massively into its own official shopping holiday. In fact, Prime Day is almost as popular as Black Friday, and some of the deals are just as good, if not better. It’s gotten so big that even other retailers have started hosting their own competing sales.
This is great for a lot of reasons. For one, more sales equal more deals. And two, retailers are competing for the lowest prices, so you can score big-ticket items like TVs, kitchen appliances, home goods and more for even less.
While some stores are directly competing by offering deals on Oct. 11 and Oct. 12 (during this year’s Amazon Prime Early Access Sale), others are going above and beyond and extending their sales throughout the whole week. Some standouts include Bed Bath & Beyond’s Beyond Big Savings Event and Target’s early Black Friday Deals.
