This wild sheet pan pancakes hack is everywhere on TikTok right now.

There are countless viral videos of users trying the new breakfast recipe, which claims you can make yummier, easier, faster pancakes by using an oven instead of a stovetop.

The results look completely incredible. TikTokers have been using the hack to make beautiful, multi-flavored pancake breakfasts — because the hack makes it easy to mix and match toppings as you bake.

How to try TikTok’s sheet pan pancake hack

Here’s what you’ll need to try this hack:

  • A medium or large-sized sheet pan (we used an 18 x 13 in. pan)

  • Your favorite boxed pancake mix

  • Oil, eggs or any other topping required by your favorite boxed pancake mix

  • Toppings of your choice

  • Syrup, obviously

To start, pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees and cover your sheet pan with aluminum foil. Then, mix your pancake batter according to the box’s instructions, pouring everything onto the pan when it’s ready.

Next, toppings. To take this to another level, we decided to add four kinds of toppings — one for each quadrant of the pan. We settled on chocolate chips, bananas, blueberries and strawberries.

Once you have your toppings in place, bake this thing for approximately 15 minutes, or until it rises and starts to turn golden. After that, let it cool a bit and begin slicing the giant pancake into square, manageable pieces.

And that’s it! This hack is unbelievably easy — it’s far and away one of the best hacks we’ve ever tried on this show.

Better yet, the results are somehow even more delicious than traditional pancakes. The tall, fluffy cakes have an incredible texture to them, and they soak up syrup like a sponge. We’d definitely recommend trying this one.
