Founded in 2019 by Afro Latina & Dominican American sisters Mabel and Shaira Frías, the LA-based company is an indie beauty brand that offers high-quality cosmetics with major color payoffs. According to the brand’s page: “By combining their passions for beauty and lifestyle, they created a vibrant brand that celebrates their mutual love for their multicultural heritage, Latin culture and music — in living color.”
Luna Magic Beauty even caught the eyes of a few legendary business people when the Frías sisters pitched their brand on Shark Tank. After showing off a few of their cruelty-free eyeshadows, lipsticks and lashes, they received an offer from Barbara Corcoran.
