Most kids look forward to the annual Christmas visit from Santa. And while they may not catch a glimpse of Saint Nick himself, there are ways you can make his presence known and create a memorable Christmas morning for you and your family!

  1. Leave out snacks for Santa, his elves, and the reindeer

No Christmas Eve is complete without a snack platter for Santa. But his elf and reindeer helpers need to keep up their energy, too! Set out cookies for Santa, mini “donuts” (made of Cheerios) for the elves, and carrots for Santa’s reindeer. Be sure to take a few bites of everything so that little ones know Santa and company stopped by.

  1. Leave a note from Santa

Sure, Santa leaves presents in his wake, but a handwritten note goes the extra mile. Write out a thank you note from Santa saying he enjoyed the holiday treats! Not only is it polite, but it will be a great keepsake for your kids.

  1. Make Santa’s footprints using powdered sugar

No one will be able to deny Santa’s visit if there’s hard evidence. Make “footprints” by sprinkling powdered sugar around a boot to prove that Santa was there.
