Spotify (SPOT), Facebook (FB) and Deutsche Bank (DBK.DE) are some of the top highest paying organisations in the UK, new data revealed.

The report comes from Glassdoor, which provides information on jobs, salary information and company reviews.

Eight investment banks, including JPMorgan (JPM) and Credit Suisse (CS), made the list of the top 25 best-paying firms in the country, as did seven tech firms including Facebook (FB), and five consulting companies, including Moorhouse.

Unlike last year though, when Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company topped the list, in 2021 the top two highest paying companies were not consulting firms.

Salesforce (CRM), where the median compensation is £100,000 ($138,962) rose in the ranks from number four to top position, while investment bank Man Group (EMG.L) was a new entrant at number two.

Last year, Microsoft (MSFT) ranked number three but this year it didn’t make it to the list at all.

"If salary is your key motivating factor, then head for the big names in banking, consulting and tech, which still dominate when it comes to large salaries in the UK," said Amanda Stansell, Glassdoor data scientist

"Companies like Salesforce, Kearney and Standard Chartered Bank (STAN.L) are all fighting for the best talent and they are prepared to pay top dollar to get it," she added.
