The holiday season has officially begun, which means it's time to head to the Big Apple whether that's in-person or virtually. It's no surprise that New York City’s Rockefeller Center is a go-to destination for folks in search of the holiday spirit, thanks to the annual Christmas tree lighting.

While the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree lighting ceremony has been around since its 1933 inception, the tradition has yet to lose its holiday magic. This year holds a particularly special milestone, as Rockefeller Center marks the 90th anniversary of the beloved tradition. To help celebrate the momentous occasion, NBC will bring together an all-star lineup as Today show stars Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin and Mario Lopez host the Christmas in Rockefeller Center telecast.

Alongside the NBC presenters, musical artists Alicia Keys, Jimmie Allen and Mickey Guyton are among those slated to sing holiday classics. Other famous celebrities are expected to drop by as well, including comedians Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph, plus The Voice coaches Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani. What's more, it wouldn't be a New York City holiday festivity without a show-stopping performance from the Radio City Rockettes.
