Let’s face it, preparing a homemade Thanksgiving dinner takes a lot of work. And sometimes, even when you’ve put a ton of effort towards a meal and followed every stuffing recipe to the best of your ability, it still doesn’t quite turn out to be what you had in mind. So when all else fails (or you just don’t feel like cooking — no judgment here) you can head to any of these restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving Day 2022.
Outback Steakhouse will be closed, but several other chain restaurants offering steak options will be open on the holiday, including Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and Fogo de Chão. If you and your family are more in the mood for fast food, then you could also stop in to Burger King or Subway for a quick meal. Just be sure to check in with your local store to double check its hours ahead of time.
And if a pre-cooked, full Thanksgiving dinner is more your speed, then check out a few places on our list where you can pick up full turkey meals to-go, even if it is at the last minute. Because turkey and stuffing with zero prep time sounds like music to our ears.
Applebee's
For a casual dining experience complete with American cuisine, stop into your local Applebee's on Thanksgiving Day. Most locations will be operating with regular hours, but be sure to verify with your closest store before you head out.
Bob Evans
You can dine-in, order out or get curb side service at Bob Evans. Most stores will be open on Thanksgiving this year, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
