Report: Packers make David Bakhtiari highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history
The Green Bay Packers and left tackle David Bakhtiari agreed to a four-year contract extension, making him the highest-paid offensive lineman in NFL history, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
The deal will pay Bakhtiari a $23 million base salary and is worth up to $105.5 in new money with $62.8 million guaranteed, according to the report. The contract comes with a $30 million bonus and extends Bakhtiari through the 2024 season.
Bakhtiari was playing on the final year of his previous deal.

Bakhtiari, 29, is in his eighth season with the Packers protecting Aaron Rodgers’ blind side. He was named All-Pro in 2018 and has been named to the Pro Bowl two times.
News of Bakhtiari’s new deal broke as the Packers wrapped a 24-20 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars to improve to 7-2.
