A PSC Insurance Group Limited (ASX:PSI) insider increased their holdings by 0.1% last year

Looking at PSC Insurance Group Limited's (ASX:PSI ) insider transactions over the last year, we can see that insiders were net buyers. That is, there were more number of shares purchased by insiders than there were sold.

While we would never suggest that investors should base their decisions solely on what the directors of a company have been doing, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At PSC Insurance Group

Over the last year, we can see that the biggest insider purchase was by Director of Broking & Executive Director John Dwyer for AU$232k worth of shares, at about AU$4.65 per share. That means that an insider was happy to buy shares at around the current price of AU$4.74. While their view may have changed since the purchase was made, this does at least suggest they have had confidence in the company's future. We do always like to see insider buying, but it is worth noting if those purchases were made at well below today's share price, as the discount to value may have narrowed with the rising price. The good news for PSC Insurance Group share holders is that an insider was buying at near the current price. John Dwyer was the only individual insider to buy during the last year.
