When is Amazon Prime Day in 2022?
In 2021, Amazon delayed Prime Day to October due to shipping restrictions. Now that our global situation has improved, the retailer is bringing back Prime Day starting July 12, 2022.
How long will Prime Day last?
Prime Day is a 48-hour occasion, historically. During this time, users get two full days to buy products at discounted prices. Not everything will be on sale for the entire duration of Prime Day, and even items like the latest generation game consoles will likely go out of stock within the first few hours.
What items will get a discounted price for Prime Day?
The most prominent products on sale are usually tech items, and on Prime Day, you can often find the latest consoles and bundled games. The listing of smart home devices, like TVs and sound systems, is sure to be prominent as well.
If you’re already stocked up on tech, then you might be interested in beauty and home decor sales. Some beauty products from the hottest brands can drop to as low as 50% off. Leveling up your closet for the summer won’t be an issue either, thanks to hefty markdowns on your favorite fashion brands as well as lesser-known manufacturers.
Who can participate in Prime Day?
As the name implies, the Prime Day sale is available to all Amazon Prime members across 20 countries. You won’t have to spend a penny extra to access the discounts if you’re already a Prime member, and if you aren’t a Prime member, this would be the best time to sign up.
Prime Day isn’t the only reason to get the membership, either. By having an account, you’ll also get benefits like two-day shipping, same-day delivery, and two-hour delivery on Amazon fresh, along with full access to the hottest Amazon Prime movies and shows.
How to prepare for Prime Day?
Your best bet is to make a list prior to Prime Day. To start, you can jot down a general idea of what you want in the notes app on your phone. This way, when the sales begin, you can check off your wish list before items go out of stock.
