(Metropolitan Police )

Detectives investigating the alleged rape of a young woman have taken the unusual step of releasing images of a man they want to trace.

The victim, in her 20s, reported being sexually assaulted at a residential address in Greenwich between the evening of Tuesday, May 11 and the early hours of Friday, May 14.

Officers said she is being supported by specialist officers after the two-day ordeal.

A 22-year-old woman and a 24-year-old man have been charged in relation to the incident.

Detectives believe a third person, a man not known to the victim, was also present at the time of the offence.

In one of the pictures released on Thursday, he appears to be asleep.
