Dipping Sauce

  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)

  • 2 thinly sliced green onions

  • 4 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 tbsp chili oil

Directions

Dumplings

  1. Beat one egg in a small bowl and set aside.

  2. Thoroughly combine pork, garlic, egg, scallions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger in a large bowl.

  3. Place a dumpling wrapper on a lightly floured work surface and add about one spoonful of the filling to the middle.

  4. Wet the edges of the dumpling wrapper with a bit of water, then press and crimp them together to seal the dumpling.

  5. Repeat this process with the remaining dumpling wrappers and filling.

  6. Heat 1-2 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Place 8-10 dumplings in the pan and cook until browned, about 2 minutes per side.

  8. Pour in half of a cup of water, then cover the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes or until the dumplings are tender and the pork is cooked through.

  9. Repeat with the remaining dumplings.

Dipping Sauce

  1. Whisk together garlic, green onions, rice vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil in a bowl. Now all you have to do is serve, dip, and enjoy!
