ALL ORDINARIES finishes higher Monday: 8 ASX shares you missed

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO)(ASX: XJO) and ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) indices finished higher on Monday.

Here’s a short recap of the Australian market:

  • S&P/ASX 200 (Index: ^AXJO) (ASX: XJO) higher 0.46% to 6.877.70
  • ALL ORDINARIES (Index: ^AXAO) (ASX: XAO) higher 0.44% to 6,978.70
  • AUD/USD at US 68 cents
  • Gold at US$1,460.18 an ounce
  • Brent Oil at US$61.23 a barrel

One of the best-performing ASX 200 shares today was the gold miner Silver Lake Resources Limited. (ASX: SLR) share price, it rose by around 5%.

UK challenger bank Virgin Money UK Plc (ASX: VUK) saw its share price rise by another 5% today after last week’s positive gains.

The share price of IMF Bentham Ltd (ASX: IMF) surged 9.1% today after announcing the result of a class action judgement.

House prices have recovered strongly again in November 2019, particularly in Melbourne and Sydney. This caused the REA Group Limited (ASX: REA) share price to climb 1.6% and the Commonwealth Bank of Australia (ASX: CBA) share price went up 1.6%.

ELMO Software Ltd (ASX: ELO) saw its share price go up after investing in a software development house.

The share price of Woolworths Group Ltd (ASX: WOW) rose 0.1% despite news surfacing of a proposed class action for the underpayment of wages.

Finally, the Bigtincan Holdings Ltd (ASX: BTH) share price went up 2.2% after securing a contract with a global beauty retailer.
