One BSA Limited (ASX:BSA) insider upped their stake by 12% in the previous year

Looking at BSA Limited's (ASX:BSA ) insider transactions over the last year, we can see that insiders were net buyers. That is, there were more number of shares purchased by insiders than there were sold.

Does BSA Boast High Insider Ownership?

I like to look at how many shares insiders own in a company, to help inform my view of how aligned they are with insiders. Usually, the higher the insider ownership, the more likely it is that insiders will be incentivised to build the company for the long term. Insiders own 19% of BSA shares, worth about AU$6.2m. We've certainly seen higher levels of insider ownership elsewhere, but these holdings are enough to suggest alignment between insiders and the other shareholders.

What Might The Insider Transactions At BSA Tell Us?

It doesn't really mean much that no insider has traded BSA shares in the last quarter. But insiders have shown more of an appetite for the stock, over the last year. Insiders own shares in BSA and we see no evidence to suggest they are worried about the future.
