This Olive Garden Employee's Gesture Will Make You Cry

A little kindness went a long way in an seemingly random venue: an Olive Garden in Little Rock, Arkansas, reports NBC4.

Dallas French, a mother, went to the Olive Garden so she could feed her baby daughter Ellees. Ellees just had tests done at a hospital close to Little Rock. French spilled milk on herself and the floor when she got there and had to make another bottle.

A waiter named Rob Davis, who saw the ordeal, gave French salad and breadsticks -- then kindly told her to eat and that he would feed the baby.

French shared this information in a viral Facebook post -- liked more than 179,000 times with more than 37,000 shares as of Thursday morning.

Olive Garden, already a popular restaurant on social media, even chimed in on the post: "We're so pleased our team was able to help, Dallas! [Heart eyes emoji] We will be sure to share these kudos with our Little Rock team so this team member can be recognized! Thanks for sharing this and for dining with us! See you again soon!"

Olive Garden helped its parent company Darden Restaurants (DRI) move past its third-quarter forecasts, as reported in April. Sales at Olive Garden in this quarter ticked up 6.6 percent, hitting approximately $1.02 billion. Darden's stock has been down 6.22 percent so far this year.
