Olive Garden employee shares the chain’s most unexpected menu items: ‘Did you know you could get that?’

Does Olive Garden really sell smoothies? That’s a strange question plenty of TikTokers are now asking themselves, thanks to one woman’s viral video.

The TikToker, @mamapearlll, posted the clip immediately after her first day of work at the Italian food chain. In the video, which now has over 400,000 views, she revealed several menu items she was shocked to learn you could order there.

“There’s so much s*** that you probably didn’t know about Olive Garden that I didn’t know — that I now know,” she says in the video.

What is inflation and what causes it?

Her clip is just the latest in a long line of viral posts about fast food and fast casual chains.

In a recent Twitter thread, a former Subway worker shared the weirdest sandwich they ever made for a customer. In another, a former Starbucks employee debunked the myth that certain locations have worse service than others.

The video from @mamapearlll didn’t reveal any secrets, technically. However, it did expose some little-known menu items that many TikTokers said they had no idea about.

Chief among them: the smoothies. As @mamapearlll explains, the smoothies are technically a kids menu item, but adults can order them too.

The TikToker goes on to name several surprising menu items — including flavored lemonades, various coffee drinks and different varieties of sparkling water.

“There is espresso,” she says. “OK, so you could have a latte, a cappuccino — like, did you know you could get that?”

Overall, TikTokers seemed excited by the video. Many complimented @mamapearlll’s excitement over her new job.

“I love the fact that you’re so excited about your new job!” one user wrote. “That makes it even more fun and better.”

Others, who claimed to be current or former Olive Garden employees, also chimed in.

“I loved trying the whole menu and drinks throughout my training,” one user agreed.

“I’ve worked at OG a little over a year now and i loveee it there,” another added.
