The Nutmeg: Watch Standard Sport’s new weekly football talk show

(ES Composite)

Welcome to The Nutmeg - Standard’s Sport’s new weekly football talk show.

Every Monday at 4pm GMT, join our football writers where they will be discussing the big talking points in London.

This week, host Dan Kilpatrick is joined by James Robson, Jack Rosser and Simon Collings as they give their verdict on Arsenal’s worst start to a season since 1981 and how much blame rests with Mikel Arteta.

Ahead of Sunday’s North London derby, the quartet debate Jose Mourinho’s claims that Tottenham are a “pony” in the title race despite Spurs being top of the table.

They also discuss whether Chelsea manager Frank Lampard won the tactical battle against Mourinho in Sunday’s 0-0 draw at Stamford Bridge, and if Lampard is making a mistake by under-using Olivier Giroud.

You can watch the episode in full on Standard Sport’s Facebook page, Standard Sport’s Twitter or on the Evening Standard's YouTube channel.
