Yahoo Finance 'Coward scum': Ray Warren's Hall of Fame ring stolen in robbery
Legendary NRL commentator Ray Warren's family has revealed his Hall of Fame ring was stolen in a home invasion on the weekend.
Warren, his wife Cher, daughter Holly and grandson Mateo were all home when an intruder entered and stole the precious item.

Fortunately, no one was harmed during the robbery.
"In the early hours of Saturday the 27th of February, between 2am-5am, someone broke into our family home, whilst my parents were asleep upstairs and my son and myself were asleep 2 metres away from where they entered," Holly wrote on social media.
"They ransacked my handbag, my dads office, stole our car keys and a wallet. But worst of all they stole something irreplaceable. My dads ‘Hall of Fame Ring.’
"For anyone who knows my dad, knows he has worked extremely hard to get where he is and he doesn’t deserve this.
"We are so grateful that we are safe and no one was hurt but it’s a horribly intrusive feeling knowing someone would do something so violating and disrespectful. If anyone has any information please contact me."
Warren family's plea for information
Warren's son also took to Instagram tor reiterate his sister's message and slam the intruder for taking such a prized possession.
"Feeling so angry and invaded as Dad, Cher, Holly & lil Mateo were invaded and robbed by coward scum in the middle of the night," he wrote.
"I also feel a sense of helplessness, that this scum, could take a treasured family piece Dads @nrl Hall Of Fame Ring that night so special on so many levels to us."
Warren was honoured for his 30 years as an NRL broadcaster when he was inducted into the 'Hall of Fame' in 2019.
He was presented a ring for his induction and service to the game.
The 77-year-old, also known as 'Rabs', said he will continue to commentate in 2021, despite giving serious thought about retirement at the end of last year.
