Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, who met on Love Island in 2019, announced on Monday (January 31) the birth of their baby girl - and they’ve given her an unconventional name.
The social media influencer’s baby daughter is called Bambi.
The news was shared on Instagram, with the 23-year-old sharing a photo of her week-old baby laying in a crib in a nursery that featured the name Bambi in light-up lettering on the wall.
It was captioned with her daughter’s name, followed by a white love heart.
Fans have speculated on Molly-Mae’s unusual baby name, with some suggesting she can’t have seen the Disney Bambi film, which has a rather distressing end - make that a distressing middle as well - for the young buck. Yes, Bambi is a boy.
The name revelation comes after she warned her fans they were either going to "love it or hate it" in a YouTube video posted in October last year.
In the video, she said she had the name of her baby girl picked out since she was a young child herself.
"Luckily, when I met Tommy and I told him the name I’ve always dreamed of using, he absolutely loved it too,” she said.
