Mom freaks out when she discovers looking ‘tired’ is trendy: ‘Babe, I’m on trend!’

One mom has just discovered that looking “tired” is trendy on TikTik — and she can’t hold back her excitement!

When mom and TikToker, Chantalle (@stretchymom), saw that e-girls are smearing makeup under their eyes to fake the appearance of dark circles and eye bags, she knew it was her time to shine.

“Looking tired is trendy? YES!!” Chantalle exclaims in her now-viral TikTok.

She then frantically runs upstairs in search of her husband. “Babe! Babe! I’m on trend, I’m on trend,” she cries excitedly.

Made famous by TikToker @sarathefreeelf, this “tired” look shook the Internet to its core when Sara first posted the video in late 2020. “My culture is not ur trend,” joked one TikTok user in Sara’s comments.

Now, Chantalle’s stitched TikTok has gained even more views than Sara’s original video, clocking in at 8.8M!

Summer fashion finds at Nordstrom all under $50:

‘Can’t wait for fine lines and crows feet to trend next…’

In response to Chantalle’s video, parents leapt into the comments to share their reactions.

“I’ve been preparing the past decade for this!” one sleep-deprived parent commented.

“Finally! Our time has arrived,” another tired parent wrote.

“Yeah!! Can’t wait for fine lines and crows feet to trend next,” commented another.

“Wait wait wait! Can carrying extra baby-weight for WAY too long be the next trend??” cried one mom.

“I AM GONNA GET SO TIKTOK FAMOUS WITH THESE *dramatically points out dark circles under my eyes* BAD BOYS!!!” joked one excited parent.

“Woo hoo! Moms rejoice!! We’ve been rockin that look for years,” cheered another mom.

TikTok trend or not, any parent with dark circles should hold their heads high, and think of their under-eye bags as badges of honor! You’re proudly raising the next generation, and that’s no easy feat!
