Mom and adopted son share the sweetest moment together: ‘From foster to forever’

This TikTok parent shared the adorable moment her adopted son told her he wants to be a mommy one day because he loves her so much!

TikToker and parent @blackandwhitegifts was letting her adopted son brush her hair recently, when he said the sweetest thing! In an adorable video that racked up more than 2 million views, the toddler told his mom the sweet reason he wants to be a “mommy” one day. It’s because he loves his own mom so much!

The video begins with a shot of the toddler brushing his mom’s hair. The adorable toddler wears blue pajamas decorated with multicolored, grinning monsters. His mom, meanwhile, wears a grey hoodie. Her long blonde hair cascades down the side of her face, as her son grabs strands and brushes them.

“I don’t want to be a daddy,” the toddler tells his mom, sounding upset.

The mom looks up at her son in confusion. “You don’t have to be a daddy,” she tells him calmly, and smiles.

“I want to be a mommy because I love you so much!” the adorable toddler continues.

At this, the mom begins to laugh joyfully. The toddler also begins to smile.

“And I love my daddy, too,” the toddler clarifies.

“I know you do,” the mom says.

“I love our family,” the toddler continues.

“Yeah, I love our family, too, bud,” the mom replies, looking increasingly emotional.

Then, the toddler leans over and gives his mom a kiss on the side of the head.

“Oh, you’re so sweet!” the mom says, laughing again.

“I’m so sweet right now?” the toddler asks. “And I’m special?”

“You are very special,” the mom says. The toddler continues brushing her hair as the video ends.

Viewers were blown away by the sweet moment between mom and son!

“Pure love,” one viewer wrote.

“He exudes love because that’s what you show him,” commented another viewer.

“The clear vulnerability and communication says everything,” another TikToker chimed in.

One thing’s for sure: the toddler certainly loves his mom a whole lot!
