TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Midstates Petroleum Co. (MPO) on Monday reported third-quarter net income of $3.6 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The Tulsa, Oklahoma-based company said it had profit of 14 cents per share.
The oil and gas company posted revenue of $49.7 million in the period.
Midstates Petroleum shares have fallen 16 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $17.38, a decline of 11 percent in the last 12 months.
