Two Melbourne homes are going head-to-head at auction this weekend
This week, two Melbourne houses were neck-and-neck when it came to attention from Australian home-buyers.
The homes, based in the coveted inner-city suburbs of Prahran and Richmond were viewed almost the exact same amount of times, but one looks a little different from the other.
Take a look at 9 Primrose Street, Prahran
This was Australia’s most-viewed home set for auction this week, and it’s clear why.
The quaint two-bedroom, 187-square metre cottage is minutes from chapel street, and boasts some pretty trendy indoor designs.
The property’s statement of information indicates the home will sell for around $1 million to $1.1 million at this afternoon’s auction.
Now, take a look at 3 Hodgson Terrace, Richmond
Pitched as “an exciting opportunity for innovation in central Richmond,” it’s clear this home needs a little love.
It looks a little rundown, with the bathroom in particular in need of a major makeover, but the $700,000 price guide reflects this.
And, it could be a good move for first home-buyers to get into the market in a sought-after area.
Only one question remains: will they both sell?
