Received 100 percent on Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index
For the eighth consecutive year, McKesson Corporation is honored as one of the "Best Places to Work for LGBTQ Equality" by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. McKesson achieved 100 percent on the HRC’s 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), a nationally recognized benchmarking report on corporate policies and practices in support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) workplace equality.

Launched in 2002, the CEI serves as a roadmap for major U.S. business’ adoption of inclusive policies, practices and benefits for LGBTQ employees. It has since become a nationally recognized benchmarking report for businesses to gauge their level of LGBTQ workplace inclusion.
McKesson has been at the forefront in offering expanded LGBTQ benefits such as transgender-inclusive assistance to employees, coverage for the HIV prevention medication, PrEP and providing same-sex partners with family health and wellness benefits. Additionally, McKesson recently joined the United Nation (UN) Global Compact, a voluntary leadership platform focused on making progress against the UN Sustainable Development Goals. including in the area of reducing inequalities.
