Margaritaville’s frozen cocktail maker is on sale — and this is your sign to live it up this summer

It’s not that hard to make a margarita at home, even if you make it from scratch. However, if you like your margarita frozen, you know that it can be difficult to get the perfect ice-to-alcohol ratio. No one wants to sip a cold soupy concoction. Luckily, you can get help from the pros at Margaritaville by getting the brand’s frozen margarita maker on sale this Memorial Day weekend.

The Margaritaville Bahamas Frozen Concoction Maker is currently 17% off at Bed Bath & Beyond, which saves you $40 and the embarrassment of making bad margs for your friends all summer long. Although in addition to margaritas, you can use the machine to make other frozen drinks like piña coladas, daiquiris, hurricanes, mudslides, frosé and more.

The “frozen concoction maker” shaves ice and blends it perfectly with fresh juices, fruits and other ingredients to make up to 36 ounces of cocktail at once. (Sharing is recommended, of course.) There is a pre-programmed button for the perfect ice blend; however, there is also the option to manually customize the texture of your drinks to your liking. There’s also a reservoir in the back that holds the melted ice, so your drink won’t get watered down.

I actually bought this machine for my dad for Father’s Day a few years back. I swear, no matter what type of restaurant it is or what season it is, if my dad is going to order a drink, it’s always a margarita. I admire his style. So, when he was building out his bar on his boat, I knew I had to get him one of these machines. Since then, I’ve seen him become a master bartender on the boat dock, making drinks for neighbors and friends (and pretty much anyone who walks by and says hello).

The Margaritaville Bahamas Frozen Concoction Maker regularly retails for $229.99 — which is arguably a lot. However, most of Margaritaville’s products are priced higher than you’d think. Right now, you can get it for $189.99 on sale, though, and personally, I think it’s well worth the perfect frozen cocktail come summertime. Just don’t forget the margarita glasses and salt!
