Manchester United vs Sheffield United LIVE!

Man United missed out on the chance to retake top spot in the Premier League as they fell to a shock 2-1 defeat to bottom-of-the-pile Sheffield United to Old Trafford tonight.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Red Devils have been in superb form, with Sunday’s thrilling 3-2 FA Cup win over Liverpool suggesting this United side could potentially be the real deal.

Unfortunately for Solskjaer, Man City easily won their game in hand 5-0 at West Brom last night to go top of the table and lay down an ominous marker - and United slipped up badly here to raise question marks about whether they have the mentality needed for a credible title challenge.

Kean Bryan headed the Blades in front in the first half, and though Harry Maguire equalised 18 minutes after the break, Oliver Burke’s deflected effort 17 minutes from time sealed a famous result for Wilder’s men.
