Man accused of $2m bank overdraw

Police have seized luxury cars and a boat from a property just outside of Canberra, accusing a Goulburn man of overdrawing his bank account to commit fraud.

Police allege Luke Moore, 25, overdrew his bank account 48 times.

He allegedly took more than $2 million between July 2010 and August this year.

The financial institution contacted police in September and on Wednesday officers searched Moore's Goulburn property.

Police say they seized artwork, a boat and trailer, three luxury cars and the keys for an Aston Martin.

Moore is charged with obtaining financial advantage by deception and knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime.

He has been granted conditional bail by Goulburn Local Court and is expected to reappear in February.
