Yahoo Finance Malcolm Butler is still making jokes about his benching in Super Bowl LII
Former New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler has no hard feelings about his benching in Super Bowl LII. Butler — now a member of the Tennessee Titans — was asked about the incident Thursday.
The 29-year-old responded with a joke.
Malcolm Butler on SB: “I have no regrets at all. I graded out at 99 percent, one punt return rep. It was great. … I enjoyed my time there and everything happens for a reason. I am happy I am still in the NFL. I have a great relationship with those guys. It’s all good.”

As Butler said, he only received one snap during the contest. He believes that snap went well, and joked that he graded out at 99 percent during the game.
The move came as a huge surprise at the time. Butler started all but one of the team’s regular season games.
When asked why he was suddenly benched for the Super Bowl, Butler said he was the wrong person to ask.
Butler asked if he has gotten any answers on the SB benching.

Butler is referring to Patriots coach Bill Belichick when he tells reporters to ask “the Hoodie.”
While that makes it sound like there’s still bad blood between Butler and the Patriots, that doesn’t appear to be the case. Butler said he has a “great relationship” with the team, and that “it’s all good.”
If Butler is still frustrated, he hasn’t taken that out on his former team as the Patriots and Titans have held joint practices this week. At least one of his Titans teammates can’t say the same.
