Love, Vera may only be a few years old, but it’s already making a major splash in the fashion and lingerie categories.
The lingerie brand recently launched on Nordstrom, bringing it one step closer to celebrating all skin tones and shades in mainstream retailers. Love, Vera has definitely been spotted on multiple ‘Best Lingerie Brands’ lists, known for its shade diversity that specifically cater to browner and darker skin tones.
The woman-owned, Black-owned brand is on a mission to bring diversity to the forefront. However, it starts with memories of home. “As a Black woman, [size inclusivity] was really important to me because we’re trying to represent the community in which we belong and serve,” Vera Moore, the founder, told TZR. “Our mothers, our aunts, our sisters, we don’t all look the same. We’re not all the same size…they want to feel represented as well.”
