Liverpool XI vs Tottenham: Confirmed team news, starting lineup, latest injury list for Premier League today

Liverpool could be boosted by the return of Jordan Henderson for tonight’s huge clash with Tottenham after the skipper returned to training this week.

Henderson, and Joel Matip, missed Sunday's FA Cup defeat to Manchester United, but their possible return will boost Jurgen Klopp's defensive options for the challenge of facing Harry Kane and Heung-min Son.

"Hendo and Joel trained yesterday with the team fully," Klopp said.

"Always with these things we have to wait and see how they reacted overnight - but they trained yesterday."

With Thursday's gave a third of seven across 22 days, Henderson is unlikely to be rushed back despite his muscle injury deemed minor.

Naby Keita, Diogo Jota, Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk remain on the treatment table.

Thiago Alcantara and Gini Wijnaldum, after being withdrawn against United, should line up in midfield with Henderson. Xherdan Shaqiri and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain fighting for the third spot in the three should Henderson not be able to start.

Sadio Mane was rested from the starting line-up against United, but should be restored alongside Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool predicted XI (4-3-3): Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Matip, Fabinho, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Thiago, Menderson, Salah, Firmino, Mane

Injury list: Jota (knee), Van Dijk (knee), Gomez (knee), Keita (knock)

Doubts: Henderson, Matip
