Do you know the bra and pair of underwear that you reach for first in your intimates drawer? The set that fits you like a glove and looks as good as it feels? Well, what if that bra and underwear duo was turned into swimwear?
If this sounds like a dream come true to you, then there’s no need to pinch yourself. Lingerie brand CUUP just debuted a brand new line of swimwear, three tops and three bottoms, to be precise, and it is everything.
Founded by Abby Morgan back in 2018, the lingerie company is known for its minimalist bra and underwear silhouettes that are both functional and sexy. And you can expect the same from the brand’s new bathing suits that launched on May 20.
Each bathing suit top and bottom corresponds to a bra and underwear style that’s already part of CUUP’s repertoire. CUUP fans will be happy to know that they can now shop The Balconette, The Scoop and The Plunge bra styles in bathing suit tops, as well as The Bikini, The Tap and The Highwaist styles in bathing suit bottoms.
But just because the styles are the same doesn’t mean that the brand churned out these pieces mindlessly. In fact, according to a release from the brand, CUUP held over 100 fittings on 25 different women over 20 months to make sure that these swimsuits fit perfectly.
And in true CUUP fashion, the material of these suits really does the heavy lifting. Not only does the fabric retain its shape, have smoothing capabilities and UPF 50 protection, but it’s also light-, pilling-, chlorine-, saltwater- and sunscreen-resistant.
Each top retails for $98, and each bottom retails for $68 and is available in shades like Black, Seaweed and Lava shades. So if you generally gravitate towards monochromatic bikinis, this collection is definitely for you.
