As a born-and-raised New Yorker, I've learned a thing or two about how to comfortably walk everywhere I go — especially when it comes to shoes. After 28 years of practice, I had all but banished long-distance walks while wearing sandals. Then, I realized that the perfect pair of walking sandals were already hiding in my closet.
Planning on just going for a quick stroll with my fiancé I slipped on my pair of rubber Birkenstock Arizona EVA sandals and ended up walking over 5 miles throughout Manhattan. You can believe me or not, but I seriously did not feel a thing thanks to my shoes. There were no rickety ankles, no painful arches, no blisters and no stopping to rest our feet. There was only iced coffee and vibes. Magic, right?

Because these guys are waterproof, you can wear them on rainy days, to the beach, while wading through grass or to help you dodge mysteriously murky puddles on city sidewalks. Personally, I can attest to how good they are at dodging said puddles of city juice. *shudders*
Thanks to the clutch price point, I have no qualms about buying them in every color. Speaking of every color, they literally come in every color. From your standard black and white to metallic shades and pinks and rainbow patterns, the outfit options are endless. Seriously, I’m this close to writing a book of sonnets about how much I adore these shoes.
