Leeds United welcome Southampton to Elland Road in the Premier League this evening.

Marcelo Bielsa’s side are coming off back-to-back defeats against Arsenal and Wolves, however, they remain 12th in the table with 10 points separating them from the bottom three. Leeds have not yet come up against Southampton this season after their initial meeting was rearranged and it promises to be an intriguing tactical battle, with the managers’ approaches almost completely opposing.

Bielsa was forced to address his future earlier this week, admitting he does not want to begin discussions over a new deal until the end of the season, despite having no intention of leaving the club. “It could be interpreted as the club having more of a desire for me to stay than I do and that’s not the case. In no way do I want to position myself above the club. I reiterate, I am not going to manage any other options until my job here at Leeds is done. There is no speculation from my part.”
