Queer creative, Founder/creative director of TEAM Mag
Age: 20
Hometown: Washington, D.C.

Sage Grace Dolan-Sandrino is a 20-year-old Afro-Cuban trans woman and a fierce voice for LGBTQIA+ equity. The self-described “NY-based queer kid, photographer, director, casting and community consultant” is the founder of TEAM Mag, a digital zine amplifying the voices of young Black and brown artists and community members. Dolan-Sandrino says she always wanted storytelling to be her career ever since she was a child. After experiencing her own hardships coming into her own identity, Dolan-Sandrino ended up focusing her storytelling efforts — and activism — on highlighting the experiences of the most marginalized.

“Authentic representation is one of the most important things to focus on when telling a story,” Dolan-Sandrino previously told In The Know. “We are going to change the world as we know it.”
