In The Know Honors: Moziah Bridges

Moziah Bridges
Moziah Bridges

Founder, Mo’s Bows
Age: 19
Hometown: Memphis, Tennessee

In 2011, when nine-year-old Moziah “Mo” Bridges wanted an accessory to make him look sharp, the concept of Mo’s Bows was born. With the help of his granny, the preteen began making his own bow ties — with a twist. Each bow tie features a fun, almost whimsical pattern, that makes a statement. Now at 19, Moziah has built his family business into more than just bow ties. Mo’s Bows also features neckties, pocket squares and, of course, face masks that have been sold at Cole Haan, Bloomingdale’s, the Home Shopping Network and Neiman Marcus. Since its founding, Mo’s Bows has been featured on The Steve Harvey Show, The Today Show, Good Morning America, 20/20, CBS This Morning, the Disney Channel and even ABC’s Shark Tank. Shark Tank‘s Daymond John is now Bridges’ mentor and is helping him grow the business further.
