At just 21 years old, Jeremiah Josey has already made an incredible impact on both the cooking world and the autism community. Josey, who co-wrote a book with his mother, Simone Greggs, about autism called Here’s What I Want You to Know, has used his platform to raise awareness about autism while collaborating with top chefs like Christina Tosi, Marcus Samuelson, Duff Goldman and Kwame Onwuachi. He’s been named an Honorary Scholar by US Foods, was awarded the National Black Chef’s Association 2019 Chef’s award and was included in Autism on The Mighty community’s list of the top 14 autism influencers. Jeremiah’s next book with his mother will center on Black identity and Black Lives Matter, and he is currently completing his second semester at the Culinary Institute of America.
