Kanye West visits hospital after apologising to Kim Kardashian
Kanye West has reportedly taken himself off to hospital after a spate of outbursts that had his family and fans worried for the rapper’s mental health.
The 43-year-old was seen entering a hospital in Cody, Wyoming, via the emergency department door on Saturday, TMZ reports, but apparently didn’t stay long.
Only 10 minutes passed before Kanye was reportedly seen leaving the hospital again to return to his ranch. The publication claims there were a lot of people waiting in the ER which put Kanye off.
So he left abruptly, but his people then arranged for an ambulance to come to the ranch instead, where medical staff determined he was not in danger.
His brief trip to hospital - like to treat his reported anxiety - comes after Kanye publicly apologised to his wife Kim Kardashian for discussing their personal issues in public.
He said he regretted “going public with something that was a private matter”.
“I would like to apologise to my wife Kim for going public with something that was a private matter,” Kanye posted on Twitter, hours after he was visited on his ranch by Justin Bieber.
“I did not cover her like she has covered me. To Kim I want to say I know I hurt you. Please forgive me. Thank you for always being there for me.”
Kanye did not explain which comments he was specifically apologising for, but he's recently made a string of allegations about various high-profile people in his life, and even claimed he wanted to divorce Kim, 39, after she met rapper Meek Mill at a hotel.
“I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf for 'prison reform',” he said in a since deleted Tweet.

Kim Kardashian broke her silence last week and issued a public statement discussing her husband’s mental health, in the wake of the hurtful comments he made about her and their family.
Kim took to Instagram to speak of her “brilliant and complicated” husband’s struggle with bipolar disorder, which he was diagnosed with in 2016.
“As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder,” wrote the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, who married Kanye in 2014.
She revealed that she’s currently “powerless” in helping him during his reported ‘bipolar episode’, until he himself wants to be helped, and calls for “compassion and empathy” as they try to “get through this”.
Before his latest visit by medical staff, another group of the star’s loved ones had flown to the ranch to be with Kanye and worked to get him professional help, according to Us Weekly.
“Kanye was evaluated by a doctor on [Monday], who determined that he did not need immediate hospitalisation and that he was in a stable mental state at the time,” a source told the publication last week.
“Those close to Kanye are taking this very seriously — their top priority is to make sure that he’s safe and getting the necessary attention and treatment he needs.”
