The Kali Uchis Effect is real, just FYI: ‘when listening to kali, all of a sudden you become luxurious’

TikTok’s newest trend is dedicated to Colombian American pop singer Kali Uchis in honor of her third album Red Moon In Venus, which hit streaming platforms in early March.

The trend revolves around Kali Uchis fans posting photos of themselves “before” versus “after” they discover the Colombian American singer. Users enlist help from the infamous Finn Wolfhard snap transition meme to cut the video together.

Enerio Palacios (@theycravelolito) posted their rendition of the trend. As the chorus of Uchis’ “Moonlight” fades in and Finn Wolfhard “snaps,” we see Enerio in a sexier, more luxurious getup.

“When listening to kali, all of a sudden you become luxurious”

Fans of the 28-year-old singer flocked to the comments to share their delight over this new trend — and how well Enerio executed it.

“Kali Uchis effect is nice, why hasn’t it happened to me”

“The kali uchis effect, u either turn into her or turn into her songs,” one commenter said.

“I’m not a kali uchis fan cause it’s not the typa music I’d listen to but every single one of these ppl is gorgeous,” someone replied.

“Kali Uchis effect is nice, why hasn’t it happened to me,” another asked.

Daniela Flores (@xo.danielaaa) showed off her cherry red locks in her video.

“gurl how does it feel to get posted by the queen herself?!”

“That’s it I’m listening to kali uchis for a glow up,” one TikToker wrote.

“which songs did u listen to cs im obviously listening to the wrong ones,” another joked.

“gurl how does it feel to get posted by the queen herself?!” someone replied, referencing Kali Uchis posting Daniela on her Instagram Story.
