Yahoo Finance Jetstar is handing out free flight vouchers today
Jetstar is gifting Australian commuters with $10,000 worth of free flight vouchers at two of Australia's most iconic train stations today.
The budget airline will use digital screens at both Sydney's Central station and Melbourne's Flinders station to promote the giveaway as part of its 17th birthday.
As part of the promotion, which will run for 24 hours from 6am today, commuters will be able to scan QR codes on select screens at the two stations to be in for the chance to redeem Jetstar travel credits.
You can also attempt to ‘catch the JQ17’ plane as it flies across the ‘big screen’ at each station to redeem vouchers valued from $50 to $500 each.
And Aussies who aren't located in Victoria or New South Wales won't miss out.
