Jetstar flash sale: Free returns for New Zealand, Japan, Thailand and Hawaii

Jetstar has launched a 48-hour flash sale with cheap flights up for grabs for a range of international and domestic destinations, including New Zealand, Japan, Thailand and Hawaii.

From tomorrow, customers can nab a Starter fare and receive a return Starter fare for $0 on Jetstar selected flights.

The deal applies to specific travel periods, starting from November 2022 through to August 2023.

Deals include return flights from Sydney to Honolulu from $479, Melbourne to Ho Chi Minh City from $339, and the Gold Coast to Queenstown from $270.

If you’re looking to travel domestically, Jetstar is offering flights from Melbourne to Sydney from $115, and the Gold Coast to Sydney from $88.

Other sale flights include:

  • Sydney to Honolulu June 2 - June 26, 2023, July 24 - August 28, 2023 from $479.

  • Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Ho Chi Minh City May 1 - June 26, 2023, July 31 - August 28, 2023 from $339.

  • Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City May 2 - June 27, 2023, July 30 - Aug 31, 2023 from $339.

  • Gold Coast to Queenstown May 2 - June 27, 2023 from $270.

  • Cairns to Osaka (Kansai) November 2 - December 6, 2022, May 10 - June 25, 2023 from $444.

  • Melbourne (Tullamarine) to Sydney May 1 - June 21, 2023, July 18 - August 31, 2023 from $115.

  • Gold Coast to Sydney May 1 - June 28, 2023, July 18 - Aug 31, 2023 from $88.

  • Adelaide to Melbourne (Tullamarine) May 1 - June 21, 2023, July 25 - August 31, 2023 from $104.

The ‘return for free’ sale starts at 12:00am AEDT Thursday October 27 and ends at 11:59pm AEDT Friday October 28, 2022.

Club Jetstar members can get 12 hours early access from midday today. Club Jetstar currently has an ongoing annual membership fee of $55.

Checked baggage is not included and other rules apply. For instance, you’ll need to have the same departure and arrival airports for the two fares.
