Jerry Rice responds to Randy Moss snub in now deleted post: 'You just got Mossed'

Jerry Rice doesn’t need many words to prove he’s the GOAT. Rice responded to Randy Moss’ snub Friday with a side-by-side comparison of their stats and a simple message: “You just got Mossed.”

The image featured some key numbers in which Rice was better than Moss during their NFL careers.

Despite that image having over 38,000 likes, Rice decided to delete it from his Instagram page Saturday.

When viewed side to side, the argument over which player was the best to ever do it seems silly. Rice bests Moss in so many important categories.

Randy Moss says he’s the best receiver ever

The debate started Wednesday, when Moss appeared on Terrell Owens’ podcast. During the show, Moss proclaimed he was the best receiver of all time. Moss named Owens as the second best before saying Rice was “third or fourth.”

Moss seemed to recognize any argument that included stats wasn’t going to help his case, so he made his point by saying a player’s impact on the field mattered more than statistics and championships. By that logic, Moss believes he’s the greatest wide receiver in NFL history.

Rice took issue with that statement ... for a while, at least. It’s unclear why Rice deleted the post, because he definitely believes he’s the GOAT receiver.
