The most popular property of 2022 has been revealed, with the winning home listed by an iconic Aussie actor.
Domain’s most viewed home of the year went to 2-4 Carroll Street in North Melbourne, listed by SeaChange actor Sigrid Thornton. The unique home was also crowned the most viewed property in Victoria for 2022.

Thornton and her husband, producer Tom Burstall, purchased the property in the late 1970s.
The renovated property was converted from its original stables into a two-storey home. The couple later purchased the single-fronted Victorian cottage next door and combined the two properties to create the inner city hideaway.
The historic property features four bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a living room, library, den and home office.
The property went up for auction in October with a price guide of $3.8 million to $4.1 million.
A vendor bid of $3.9 million was passed in, according to Domain, and the property then became available via private sale.
According to agent Nelson Alexander, the property then sold on December 9 for an undisclosed amount.
