Ilford stabbing: Teenager knifed to death as 15-year-old arrested on suspicion of murder

A teenager was stabbed to death in Ilford in the early hours of Thursday as police arrested a 15-year-old on suspicion of murder.

The Met Police said officers were called to reports of a fight taking place on Harrow Road just before 4am.

A male, believed to be 18, was found with stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 4.27am.

A 15-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of murder. He was taken to an east London police station where he remains.

The victim has not been named. His next of kin have been informed.
