There’s no longer an iced coffee season — iced coffee is year-round. In fact, coffee brands like 127-year-old Italian coffee company Lavazza report that iced and cold coffee drinks have risen in popularity over the traditional hot cup of joe. You can’t go to the grocery store without seeing rows of canned coffee options in the refrigerator, either.

Have you ever thought of taking your canned coffee and amping it up, though? If you like iced coffee or cold brew, you'll love Lavazza's recipe for a frozen blended drink using one of its canned beverages. (Well, actually, the trick is to simply blend it with ice.)

Lavazza recently served the frozen coffee drink in its suite at the U.S Open, where the brand has been a sponsor for the last seven years. The drink feels elevated, yet perfect for a day at the courts. It uses the brand's organic Cappuccino Cold Brew, which combines the sweet, creamy taste of milk with a little cocoa. Once it's blended with ice though, it tastes like an extra special afternoon treat.
