What we know about Prince Harry’s book so far
The title of Harry’s memoir is a nod to the old adage ‘the heir and the spare’, with his brother William being the heir to the throne, while Harry - as the younger sibling - is unlikely to ever become king.
In Spare, Prince Harry reveals a shocking encounter with his brother William, in which he claims he was shoved to the floor, landing on - and breaking - a dog bowl beneath him.
He also claimed he and William begged their father, now King Charles III, not to marry Camilla Parker-Bowles (now Queen Consort) for fear she would become their “wicked stepmother”.
He also goes into detail about his time spent in the British armed forces, claiming he killed 25 people during his second tour of Afghanistan.
There are also revelations about his first sexual encounter with an older woman - in which he lost his virginity - and whether or not he and his brother are circumcised.
Aussies looking to purchase the book can buy it on pre-order before the January 11 release date for around $45.
