SINGAPORE – As part of the latest package to help Singaporeans beat inflation, announced in mid-October, local households will receive another tranche of $100 Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers.
This is on top of the $200 total in CDC vouchers earlier announced – $100 released in December 2021 and $100 in May 2022.
While details on how to claim the latest tranche (for 2023) and their validity dates will be confirmed at a later date, you should claim and use the first two tranches before they expire on 31 December 2022.
As of September 2022, some 97 per cent and 87 per cent of Singaporean households have claimed the 2021 and 2022 CDC vouchers respectively. Revealing this in Parliament, Senior Minister of State for Finance Chee Hong Tat also said that these households have utilised S$180 million – approximately 80 per cent – of the total vouchers available to them.

What do I need to access the vouchers?
Make sure you are able to access your Singpass. For those who have forgotten or need assistance, visit a Singpass counter located in all community centres/clubs around Singapore or visit this FAQ page.
Can everyone in my household claim the vouchers?
Nominate one person with a Singpass account to claim the vouchers, as only one household member can claim the vouchers for use. They can, however, share the vouchers once it has been claimed.
Claiming your vouchers
How do I go about claiming my vouchers?
Head to https://vouchers.cdc.gov.sg/
Tap on CDC Vouchers 2022 (or CDC Vouchers 2021 if you have yet to claim last year's vouchers). If you have claimed your 2021 vouchers, you will need to repeat this process to claim the 2022 vouchers.
Log in using your Singpass – you will receive a link through SMS to access your vouchers.
Sharing and using your CDC vouchers
Can I share the vouchers once they've been claimed?
Yes, you can share your vouchers with other members of your household by clicking on the "Share my Vouchers" button on the redemption website – this allows you to copy the voucher link (each one is unique so you'll need to share each link). Anyone with the link will be able to access the vouchers.
How do I use the voucher at a participating heartland hawker or merchant?
To use the voucher, open your redemption page and tap the amount that you want to use. This will produce a QR code that the participating hawker or heartland merchant can scan.
Can I check the value of my remaining vouchers?
You can check your CDC voucher balance on the redemption page. The remaining value is shown at the top of the webpage.
If I use a voucher of a greater value than my purchase, will I get change back?
Vouchers are not refundable for any unused amount or value. If you are purchasing something that is less than the amount of voucher used, you will not get change back.
I’ve accidentally deleted the SMS with my voucher links. What can I do now?
If you've accidentally deleted the SMS with your voucher links, visit go.gov.sg/cdcv and login with your Singpass again to have the voucher links resent to you.
It's important to note that CDC or RedeemSG will never send an SMS to ask for any information such as personal or banking details, or your NRIC. Do not click on the link or reply.
