DiDi is offering free rides in Sydney for the next 12 weeks.
Sydneysiders can score up to $240 in free transport over the next three months, as part of a new promotion by popular ridesharing service DiDi.
From next week, DiDi is offering new and existing customers one free ride per week (capped at $20) for the next 12 weeks.
That means Aussies could potentially save up to $240 over the entire 12-week period.

DiDi spokesperson Dan Jordan said this was the biggest giveaway the platform had done in Australia since it launched five years ago.
“With the looming rail disruptions and growing cost-of-living crisis, DiDi wants to provide an alternative mode of transport to Sydneysiders, which is financially viable,” Jordan said.
“We also fully expect that this will benefit our drivers and help them by providing more trips on the platform and consequently giving them greater earning potential.
“We’ve seen demand grow significantly in recent months. Sydneysiders are keen to experience the best of their city and we’re hoping this initiative can help them do so with increased peace of mind.”
How to get the free rides
Aussies can access their free rides by using the code FREERIDE20 in the promotions section of the DiDi app.
The promotion will run across Sydney for 12 weeks from Monday, June 19 until Sunday, September 10.
Users can get one free ride per person (up to $20) every week during the promotional period.
New users can get free rides around Sydney anytime and on any day of the week, while existing users can get free rides around Sydney between 9:00am and midnight on Monday to Wednesday.
