1. Homemade salted rocky road ice cream

This decadent rocky road ice cream is shockingly easy to make! Start by mixing heavy cream and unsweetened cocoa powder in a stand mixer or bowl until the heavy cream begins to form stiff peaks. The air bubbles in the whipped heavy cream will give the ice cream its creamy consistency once it’s frozen. Next, mix in condensed milk, chopped almonds, salt and mini marshmallows, and pour the mixture into a container. Freeze your ice cream for at least six hours and enjoy!

2. 10-minute homemade ice cream in a bag

This ice cream can be made in just 10 minutes! Grab two resealable plastic bags, making sure one is larger than the other. In the larger bag, combine ice and large-grain salt. Then in the smaller bag, combine half and half, vanilla and sugar. Place the smaller bag inside the larger bag, seal it up, and shake it for 10 minutes. The salt lowers the melting point of the ice, causing the ice cream ingredients to cool more rapidly. Once you’re done shaking up your ice cream, it’s ready to eat.

3. Homemade vegan banana peanut butter ice cream

You don’t need dairy to make a delicious ice cream. Just blend up some frozen sliced bananas, powdered peanut butter and chocolate almond milk, put the mixture in a container, and freeze it. The blended bananas give the ice cream a creamy consistency, while the chocolate almond milk and peanut butter turn it into a decadent treat.

4. Homemade cotton candy ice cream

This colorful ice cream is sure to be a hit with kids! To make it, mix heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form, then add condensed milk and cotton candy flavoring. Then divide the mixture between two bowls, adding red food coloring to one bowl and blue food coloring to the other. Finally, add both mixtures to a single bowl and freeze it for six hours.

5. Homemade papaya ice cream in a jar

No need to get a bunch of dishes dirty making your homemade ice cream! This delicious papaya ice cream can be made in a single jar. Just add heavy whipping cream, sugar, vanilla and salt to a jar, screw on the lid, and shake the jar until the mixture begins to thicken. Then add some chopped papaya, shake again, and freeze for at least three hours. Don’t love papaya? Add your favorite fruit instead!
